Terms and Conditions

1Booking & Usage

  • Booking starts from the time you have reserved, and the day will be counted every 24 hours. (300km per day average, after that additional charge will be applied per kilo meter according to the car per day rate)
  • Understanding the situation of traffic or other circumstances GetSetDrive gives one hour of grace period. After the grace period an entire day charge will be taken.
  • GetSetDrive offers car rentals in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai on Daily, Weekly and Monthly plans.
  • Our cars come with a 300km limit per day. Extra usage is charged at actual per km cost based on the car model.
  • Maximum speed limit allowed is 100km/Hr. Exceeding will attract a fine of ₹500 per attempt.
  • You must follow RTO speed limits. Fines (e.g., ₹2000) captured by RTO cameras will be charged to you.

2Vehicle Condition & Handover

  • Ensure Photo/Video is taken of the car from your mobile before starting your journey for proof of existing scratches, dents, or damage.
  • Must take speedometer and fuel level photos and send them to the GetSetDrive Operator.
  • Same level of fuel must be maintained while handing over. Less fuel will be charged accordingly. Excess fuel is not reimbursed.
  • The place of return is the same as the pickup location unless agreed otherwise (chargeable or free).
  • GetSetDrive is not responsible for tyre punctures or flat tyres. Any damage due to tyre failure is solely borne by you.

3Damage & Repairs

  • GetSetDrive has its own workshop for mechanical warranty (except tyres).
  • Any damage, scratches, or dents occurring during your possession will be charged to you (entire repair cost).
  • In case of major damage, the amount will be decided taking insurance into account, by mutual agreement.
  • 50% of the rent will be charged for the period the car is in the garage/service centre for repair due to your damage.

4Fastag & Payments

  • Fastag recharge is to be done by yourself using Fastag Scanner or via UPI/Net Banking.
  • If existing balance is used, you must pay accordingly or it will be deducted from your security deposit.
  • Extra Fastag recharge done by you will not be reimbursed.

5Extensions & Cancellations

  • Extension: Inform well in advance. Subject to availability. Make immediate payment. Security deposit is not part of rent for extensions.
  • Late Return: If not extended and returned late, a fine of ₹5000 or more will be levied. ₹500/day fine for delay in payment.
  • Cancellation (48hrs+ prior): 50% of rent deducted if 100% advanced paid. Else 50% rent to be paid.
  • Cancellation (<48hrs): No refund. Full rent must be paid if partially paid.
  • No refund for cancellation of ongoing booking.

6Fines & Cleaning Charges

Cleaning Charges (if dirty)
  • Hatchback: ₹400
  • Sedan: ₹500
  • SUV: ₹800
  • Premium: ₹1500
Penalties
  • Smoking/Drinking: ₹1000
  • Pan Spitting: ₹1000
  • Decorations/Tapes: ₹2000
  • Animal Fur/Dirt: ₹2000

Security deposit is held for minimum 48 hours after return to check for RTO fines.
