At GetSetDrive, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our car rental services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which cancellations and refunds are processed.

Cancellation & Refund Windows

24 Hours Before Pickup (Free Cancellation)

Cancel your booking up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time and receive a full refund. No questions asked. This allows us to offer the vehicle to other customers.

4-24 Hours Before Pickup (50% Refund)

Cancel between 4-24 hours before pickup and receive 50% of your booking amount back. The remaining amount is retained as a cancellation fee.

Less Than 4 Hours Before Pickup (No Refund)

Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the scheduled pickup time are non-refundable. The full booking amount will be forfeited.

Refund Processing Time

  • UPI Payments: Refunds are processed within 24-48 hours to your original UPI account.
  • Cash Payments: Refunds for advance payments are processed within 5-7 business days via bank transfer (details provided during cancellation).
  • Platform Fees: Non-refundable booking fees are deducted from your refund amount.

No-Shows & Late Cancellations

If you fail to show up at the designated pickup location or time without notifying us:

  • The entire booking amount will be forfeited
  • No refund will be issued
  • You may be penalized for breach of contract

Special Cases & Exceptions

We understand that life happens. In case of legitimate emergencies, you may be eligible for:

  • Medical Emergencies: Full refund with valid medical documentation
  • Car Unavailability: If the booked vehicle becomes unavailable, full refund or alternative vehicle at no extra cost
  • System Errors: If there's an error on our part, we'll fully refund your booking

For special cases, please contact us immediately with supporting documentation.

Damage Charges & Deductions

Any damages to the vehicle during your rental period will result in applicable charges being deducted from your refund or paid separately:

  • Minor Damage: Assessed and charged separately (scratches, dents under 5cm)
  • Major Damage: Full repair costs charged to customer account
  • Total Loss: Full vehicle value charged (your booking amount may not cover this)
